John Silvis (Moderator)
International Art Advisor
John Silvis is a New York-based curator and art advisor. He received his MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and has been working in the art world for 20 plus years. In addition to producing independent exhibitions and publications in the United States, John Silvis has recently been researching contemporary art in South East Asia. He is actively advising private collections in Hong Kong, Los Angeles, New York and Vienna.
Stefania Bortolami

Stefania Bortolami studied Art History at University of Torino while studying for her master’s degree in Cultural Studies from Middlesex University, she attended Sotheby’s Institute in London for a Post-Graduate program in Contemporary Art and then worked for Sotheby’s London Valuation and Communication departments. Stefania has worked at and/or owned art galleries in Barcelona and London until 1999, when Larry Gagosian offered her a position at his flagship gallery on Madison Avenue in New York City. Since 2007, Ms. Bortolami has been the owner of Bortolami which is now located in Tribeca. For 14 years Bortolami has been successfully staging exhibitions, represents 25 internationally renowned artists, and participates in at least 7 International art fairs per year.
David Galperin
SVP-Head of Evening Sales, Contemporary Art, Sotheby's
David Galperin is the Senior Vice President and Head of Contemporary Art Evening Sales at Sotheby’s in New York. David graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a joint Bachelor of Science in Economics from Wharton Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in the History of Art.
Kelly Crow Hayes
Kelly Crow is a staff reporter covering the art market for The Wall Street Journal. She reports on sales at auction houses including Sotheby’s and Christie’s as well analyzes the funding and art-buying activities of the world’s major museums, art fairs, artists and collectors around the world. Ms. Crow has covered the art market beat for the Journal since 2006. Before joining the Journal in 2005, she wrote for the New York Times. In 2000 she graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
Viktoria Prigarina
Founder of ArtCrossing.io and Art Market Symposia
Viktoria Prigarina is a Board Member of the Columbia Business School Alumni Club, Chairman of the Arts Committee and GM & Head of Art Crossing.
She started her finance career at Morgan Stanley, followed by options trading and structuring at Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank. She has also worked in Brazil where she created a capital raising platform for what is now a $10 billion hedge fund—SPX Capital and served as a Member of the Investment Committee of the firm. Viktoria holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics of Finance from Columbia University and a B.B.A. with concentrations in finance and comparative literature and minor in Latin American Studies from Baruch College. Viktoria has been passionate about the arts throughout her life and has pioneered the Art Market Symposia for CBSACNY.
Francesco Longnecker
Francesco Longenecker is a Director at Pace Gallery. He has previously worked at Cheim & Read Gallery and Pace/MacGill Gallery. He holds an MFA from the New York Academy of Art.
Lisa Wirth
As a founder and serial entrepreneur, Lisa Wirth has built a career at the unique intersection of technology, the arts and design. Her background includes working as a senior executive for category disruptive start-ups, and founding an award-winning interior design practice and overseeing its operation for over a decade. Lisa's personal portfolio projects are directly engaged in helping women "take up space" — increasing the number of female founders (The Tenth House), and increasing the inclusion of women artists in private, corporate and institutional collections (Work in Progress). She works as the Director of Design at Homepolish, and holds BS and MS degrees in Journalism from Northwestern University.
Sofie Scheerlinck
Former New York-based Managing Director, TEFAF
Sofie Scheerlinck was the New York-based Managing Director of TEFAF, the prestigious Dutch art foundation with fairs in Maastricht and New York until November 2020. She spearheaded TEFAF's digital practice, including the launch of its first online fair. Prior to TEFAF, she held leadership positions at art tech companies focused on software and data platforms for the art industry. As the Business Director of Auction Club, she helped define product strategy and development for an independent art information database, facilitating the sale of the company in 2018. At top VC-backed startup ArtBinder she ran business operations, strategy, and growth as the company built on-the-go inventory management and sales tools for galleries, collectors, and arts institutions. A Flemish native, she has been living in New York for the past decade.
